Surakhya Trust was registered as a charitable trust in Assam under the Indian Trust Act, 1882 in the year 2001. It established Arya Nursing College and Arya School of Nursing, and continues to work on developing the health and educational sectors in northeast India.
From its healthcare roots to higher education, the Trust's work is guided by a single belief — that lasting community wellbeing is built through care, knowledge and opportunity.

2001
Registered as a charitable trust
- Established a Blood Bank attached to Arya Hospital.
- Established Arya Nursing College and Arya School of Nursing in 2007, expanding nursing education.
- Organised health camps in Goalpara, Nagaon and other districts, treating 5,000+ people with free check-ups, low-cost investigation and surgery.
- Identified and arranged treatment for 300+ cataract cases under the Blind Control Programme at Sankardev Netralaya.
- Provided free CT investigations for those in need.
- Donated to the Chief Minister's COVID Relief Fund.

Our institute aims to build highly skilled and competent nursing and midwifery professionals. Studying at Arya Nursing College enables graduates to assume responsibilities as competent nurses — providing promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services, making independent clinical decisions, and conducting research.
